Sound and Vision - Student Brief Our brief was to create a record cover using a hand made element. My song of choice was David Bowie’s, ‘Sound and Vision’. Listening to the lyrics, “Waiting for the gift of sound and vision”, and working with ideation processes, I worked with key words, ‘suspend’, ‘explode’ and ‘solitude’ to try to capture the anticipation of sound in a still image. The result was a scene of mundane, every day objects in mid air, as if captured the moment before they crash to the ground.
